G is for Garden

I've always wanted to have a garden.  I love flowers.  I love fresh herbs and veggies.  Unfortunately, while I don't think I necessarily have a black thumb, it's definitely not the right shade of green!  I have, in the past, successfully killed a bamboo plant.  Supposedly, you aren't supposed to be able to kill bamboo plants.  They're supposed to be really low maintenance.  I killed one.

So I'd really like to have a little garden at some point where I can grow lovely flowers and herbs and veggies, and not kill them!

I do not possess a green thumb myself, every year I get an Easter plant and every year it dies..

So you are not alone in your "non-greeness"

You'll find something to care for in the garden..

Don't give up! Try succulents. I'm trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs this month.

Hi, Sharkbytes is right. Succulents or cacti only have to be watered every two weeks or so. They need almost no care. Best regards to you. On my way to visit other challengers. Ruby

You are not alone! I love to garden but my thumb is anything but green. Luckily I married a farmer. I LOVE when everything comes on in the garden. They grow it - I pick it and eat it. lol. Luckily most of my flowers have survived the flower bed, but I have to do what's simple. :) Funny about the bamboo plant. I might have that happen too. hehehe

RIP bamboo....
Don't hate yourself for killing the plant - maybe it was just "it's time."

If it makes you feel any better, I once UNDER-watered a cactus. Hubby is now in charge of all green living things in our household.
BTW, I love your A to Z theme! :-)
