This one is pretty self explanatory I think.  I want to visit all 50 states.  I have a couple of rules I've given myself on this one as far as what qualifies as "visiting" a state.  Mainly, I actually have to do something while I'm there.  Just sleeping there, just eating a meal there, just sitting in the airport there or just driving through doesn't count.  At least not for me.  For instance, I've never stayed overnight in Pennsylvania, but I have gone to Philly with friends for a baseball game, so I count it.  On the flip side, I've both slept and eaten meals in New Mexico, but I don't count it as that's literally all I did there.  I didn't experience anything out out of the ordinary while I was there.  It was simply a pit stop.  Those are my rules for myself.
I've made an okay start to this bucket list item.  I've been able to cross the following states off of my list:
- Arizona

- California

- Nevada

- Alaska

- Oklahoma

- Tennessee

- Virginia

- West Virginia

- Georgia

- New York

- Connecticut

- Delaware

- Pennsylvania

- Texas

- Maryland

So....15 down and 35 to go!

Wow! That's great that you've visited 15 so far. This is on my bucket list too, but I'm waay behind.
Great A-Z post!

you'll have to buy a motor home, to allow yourself the luxury of staying as long as you wish... sounds fun.
I too would love to visit all 50 states. And my criteria for "visit" would be much the same. More than driving through, or a pit stop at a restaurant (or bathroom), or an overnight stay at a hotel. I would need to actually visit, stay a while, experience the place.
I can say I've been to Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC (not a state, but I'm counting it!), Tennessee, New York, and Illinois. I'll be in California for a week at the end of the month. And, of course, my state-of-residence, North Carolina--which I notice you have yet to visit. I hope you get the opportunity soon. It's a lovely state, from the snow-topped mountains to the beaches and the Outer Banks. Lots to see and enjoy. :)
Touring the USA is on my list of things to do...we do have a beautiful country! Here's to many safe journeys for you!
I need to go to Alaska. I'm in VA - glad you made it here!
